Residents of the Kovaç neighborhood in the village of Vlahen in the municipality of Has have protested at the entrance to the gallery for the exploitation of chromium by a Turkish firm, "Vllahen Mining", as the works of this firm, mainly explosive explosions, are damaging their homes and making their lives very difficult with anxiety and fear.
The deputy mayor of Has also supported these residents, according to whom the central institutions responsible for controlling the Turkish firm have not responded.
Regarding the residents' concerns, the local administrator of the Turkish firm has also reacted, according to whom the measurements and verifications carried out do not justify the residents' concerns.
