Lewis Hamilton has crashed his Ferrari during the team's annual pre-season testing programme in Spain.
Fortunately, the 7-time Formula 1 world champion emerged unscathed from this accident where he reportedly lost control of the 2023 team's car at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.
Ferrari declined to comment on the incident, which occurred on Hamilton's second day of testing at the Spanish track, where he is sharing the car with teammate Charles Leclerc.
The incident came as Ferrari seeks to integrate Hamilton into the team as effectively as possible ahead of the season opener at the Australian Grand Prix on March 14-16.
Ferrari considers the collision normal as "Hamilton is learning the characteristics of an unfamiliar car, after 12 years with Mercedes." (A2 Televizion)
