The next session for the constitution of the Assembly will come with the bad taste not only of failure in nine attempts, but also of a meeting between the leaders of the two leading parties that seems to have moved the parties further away from resolving the situation than it has brought them closer.

The attempt to hold a secret ballot in the last session to elect the speaker of the Assembly in the hope that some votes might be cast by MPs who might disagree with the party's position, caused even the little trust between the parties to be broken, writes A2.

Analyst Dritëro Arifi says: "It is a tactic that does not provide accurate numbers and lacks transparency from the start and creates unnecessary friction between the parties, so the whole essence is how to move forward with communication with other parties, not in a way to intimidate other MPs, so the way and time he was chosen was inappropriate."

Even the failed meeting between the leader of Vetëvendosje, Albin Kurti, and the leader of PDK, Memli Krasniqi, has left little opportunity for any quick agreement that would benefit the creation of new institutions.

"Yesterday's meeting has in a way closed the door to political dialogue because now other parties will see Mr. Kurti as a person who does not keep his word, is not sincere, therefore he is manipulative, so these are mistakes that could cost Vetëvendosje and Mr. Kurti in the future," adds Arifi.

The consequences of the lack of communication between political entities will also be seen in later stages, when political consensus will be sought on various issues in the Assembly: "We will have problems in the near future for various laws when we will not be able to provide even 61 deputies, let alone the 82 we need, for 2/3 for a much more important decision, and let's not forget that we also have the election of the President, so we are not wanting to build a bridge of communication and cooperation to overcome these stages where we need to have an understanding."

On Saturday, the tenth attempt will be made to constitute the Assembly with the remaining points, which are the election of the Speaker and Deputy Speakers. (A2 Televizion)
