The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, pledged today to protect the country and the borders of the Republic, as she spoke about the possibility of another attack by Serbia.
The same willingness to respond to any possible threat from Serbia, was expressed by the interior minister of Kosovo, Xhelal Svecla.
He announced that the authorities are constantly assessing the security situation, while he said that the investigation report on the terrorist attack in Banjska will be released very soon.
"We are witnessing that various extremist groups from Serbia, Republika Srpska, Montenegro, but also from Russia from time to time have had excursions to the territory of Kosovo in the past. But we successfully managed and neutralized those who were a danger to the state of Kosovo... The Kosovo Police together with the prosecutor's office, which leads the investigations, are conducting the biggest investigations in the history of Kosovo. Undoubtedly, they will come out with the preliminary results very soon, this is one of the requests that I have addressed to the police and also to the prosecution through the police, so that as soon as possible we have a preliminary report on the findings for this case, but also for the case of the kidnapping of three policemen."
