Interior Minister Taulant Balla is in Lyon, France, where he held a meeting with the General Secretary of Interpol, Jürgen Stock, this Monday.
The discussions between them have focused on deepening the cooperation that consists in finding the persons wanted by Albanian justice, with Balla asking to pave the way for the extradition of crime bosses from Dubai and Latin America.
" I am today in Lyon, at the headquarters of Interpol, where I met with General Secretary Jurgen Stock and other senior leaders of this organization. We already have a list of people wanted by Albanian justice for serious crimes who have been hiding for years, such as a certain number of people in the United Emirates or Latin America, whom we must put an end to together with Interpol impunity. Their extradition to Albania should be carried out as soon as possible ", says Balla.
Meanwhile, Balla warns of the attack on Albanian criminal networks that traffic heavy drugs in Europe and vice versa. He emphasizes that cooperation with Interpol for locating and arresting some of the most wanted persons by justice will be further deepened. (A2 Televizion)
