The son-in-law of the former prime minister, Sali Berisha, Jamarbër Malltezi has taken other steps in his battle with justice. A2 CNN learns that Malltez's lawyer has today filed an addendum to the appeal made in the Appeal against the security measure "arrest in prison".
His decision comes after the Court against Corruption and Organized Crime upheld the security measure "prison arrest" for the former prime minister's son-in-law. Malltezi, currently in prison, is accused of passive corruption over the privatization of the former Partizani complex.
For this matter, a security measure has been established for Sali Berisha as well. At the request of SPAK, Berisha has been given the measure "obligation to appear" and "prohibition of leaving the country". (A2 Televizion)
