Cervical cancer is the second most common tumor disease in women, after breast cancer. Over 130 women in our country are diagnosed with this cancer, while 40 lose their lives due to the advanced stages of the disease.

But unlike any other tumorous disease, doctors say cervical cancer is entirely preventable, through periodic screening for Human Papilloma, the virus that causes this cancer.

But when should girls and women start their first checkups for Human Papilloma?

During a medical conference on lifestyle and risk reduction, doctors from various specialties emphasized the importance of health care in the population for the prevention and early detection of diseases. (A2 Televizion)
