The free movement agreement between Kosovo and Albania entered into force today, allowing citizens to cross the border without a passport or ID card for most of the year.
According to this agreement, border controls will not be carried out for Kosovar and Albanian vehicles, enabling rapid and unrestricted movement.
The facilitation of procedures will be implemented during 9 months of the year, and more specifically from May 1 to September 30, and from November 1 to February 28 of the following year.
Free movement aims to promote economic and tourist development and strengthen cooperation between the two countries.
The agreement on free movement is a step forward in strengthening regional cooperation and that between Kosovo and Albania. (A2 Televizion)
