Long lines and influx at Qafë - Thanë customs

Long lines and influx at the Qafë Thana border crossing point, which connects Albanian land with that of North Macedonia.

The high flow has started since 09:00 on both sides of the border, where travelers are forced to wait for more than 45 minutes to cross to the other side of the border.

There is a flow on both sides of the border, also due to the days off that North Macedonian citizens have (4 days), who say they travel to the Albanian coast to rest.

The Albanian border police indicate that they are working at full capacity at entry and exit, while they have asked the Macedonian side to work with an expedited procedure, which has not been accepted by them.

Today alone, more than 8,000 citizens have entered and exited through this border crossing. (A2 Televizion)
