A daily sacrifice for a drop of water. This is how the day begins for the 120 families of the village of Gjerba, Mallkastra.
With jerry cans in their hands and standing in line at the only tap known as the Vidhaj tap, the residents of Gjerbe are forced to fill up with water for drinking, washing and daily needs. Those who can afford it come by motorized vehicles or donkeys twice a day, writes A2 CNN.
Others once. Even people with disabilities are not excluded from this daily life, which challenges them to secure a water point.
Other residents also share their suffering to secure the essential element of life, water, which they have been promised for decades.
Tired of demands and promises, the residents propose that the difficulties they have been experiencing for years and that they suffer, be tested by the deputies for just 24 hours. (A2 Televizion)
