The Special Prosecution Office against Corruption and Organized Crime, through notifications dated 01.08.2024, 21.01.2025 and 20.02.2025, informed about the proceedings of a criminal organization based in the city of Elbasan, which was led by the brothers FG (alias F. Ç.) and HB (alias H. Ç.) as well as the seizures of movable and immovable assets suspected of being the product of the criminal offense.
The Special Prosecution Office has continued to conduct investigations for the identification and seizure of movable and immovable assets suspected of having criminal origin. After conducting numerous investigative actions, it has become possible to identify an immovable asset of considerable value.
On 23.02.2025, pursuant to decision no. 117, dated 15.02.2025, of the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime, a preventive seizure was imposed on the immovable property at the address; “5 Maji” Neighborhood, Elbasan, which is a residential unit owned and used by the family of brothers FG (alias F. Ç) and HB (alias H. Ç), the latter persons under investigation under criminal proceeding no. 75, year 2022, as suspects of committing several criminal offenses against life and property, as well as laundering the proceeds of criminal offenses and criminal activity, within the framework of a criminal organization.
The residential unit, subject of the seizure, was a private villa, with 2 (two) residential floors, an open terrace above the second residential floor, an underground floor, adapted for a gym and equipped with gym equipment, a courtyard and flower garden in the front of the residential building, a veranda and flower garden in the back of the residential building, as well as an open garage through which one passed into a 1-story building, adapted and furnished with office equipment.
The first floor of the residence consisted of a closed garage, a living room, a kitchen, and a bedroom - fully furnished rooms.
The second floor of the residence consisted of two bedrooms, each with a separate wardrobe and these spaces were fully furnished.
