Four months after the murder of 58-year-old Renato Hoxha in Vlora, police have arrested one of the suspected perpetrators of the incident that shocked the coastal city. Police say that Kleanth Bylyku ( alias Armando Gega ) has been arrested for the murder that occurred in April .
"As a result of the police operation codenamed "On the Trail", conducted by the Serious Crimes Investigation Section at the Vlora State Police Headquarters, in cooperation with the Special Operations Force Directorate at the General Directorate of the State Police, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Vlora, it was possible to locate and arrest one of the suspected perpetrators of the incident that occurred on 27.04.2025, in the "Hajro Çakërri" neighborhood, where citizen RH, 58 years old, was killed with a firearm. Following the investigations, based on the evidence provided by the Serious Crimes Investigation Section, the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Vlora, with the decision dated 30.07.2025, has determined the security measure "arrest in prison", for citizen KB, alias AG, 42 years old, resident of Vlorë, suspected of being a co-author in the commission of the criminal offense "Premeditated murder", committed in collaboration", informs the police.
The detained person, according to the Blues of Vlorë, turns out to be a member of a criminal group that operates in the field of serious crimes and was previously convicted of illegal possession of weapons.
The serious incident, in which the 58-year-old victim was killed, occurred on the morning of April 27, at around 06:20, near the Vlora City Polyclinic.
In the footage of the event published by A2 CNN, a hooded person appears, who is suspected of being the author of the murder of Renato Hoxha and was caught on camera as he leaves the alley where the 58-year-old's execution took place.
The killer was equipped with a silicone mask that covered his entire face, had an artificial stomach, and was wearing an AntiCovid mask and hat to hide every detail of his identity. (A2 Televizion)
