Fier is the next major municipality in the country, where Prime Minister Edi Rama has stopped to hold a meeting with local leaders and district deputies, as part of the national initiative to free up public spaces.
After Vlora, where Rama closely followed the action that began several days ago, with the initial dismissal of 21 municipal directors, and then the liberation of spaces mainly in Lungomare and the "Muradie" neighborhood, the prime minister also turns his attention to Fier.
Rama arrived at the Fier municipality accompanied by the Deputy Prime Minister, who is also the political leader of the district, Belinda Balluku, and Mayor Armando Subashi.
In a video message shared earlier on Facebook, Rama said that the action he is personally overseeing will extend beyond Vlora and Fier, to Tirana, Durrës and Shkodra. (A2 Televizion)
