The absence of the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, was noted at the Diaspora Summit. To extinguish any doubt that this absence was a result of bad relations with Prime Minister Edi Rama, Kurti's press office has shown that the head of the Kosovo government was not present because of his agenda.
In the official response, it is said that Kurti could not be present due to commitments, including today's session of the Assembly of Kosovo where, at the request of the opposition, he will report on the Progress Report of the European Commission.
"The Minister of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Arbërie Nagavci, and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Liza Gashi, are participating in the Diaspora Summit which is being organized in Tirana by the Government of the Republic of Kosovo. Also, the President of the country, Vjosa Osmani, is participating. "Due to commitments on the agenda, including today's session of the Assembly of Kosovo where, at the request of the opposition, he will report on the Progress Report of the European Commission, Prime Minister Kurti was unable to participate in this organization," the reaction says.
