After Vlora, Prime Minister Edi Rama stopped this Tuesday in Fier for a meeting with local leaders and deputies of the region, as part of the national initiative to free up public spaces.

Sources for A2 CNN indicate that the head of government has requested the resignation of all local and regional directors. A2 CNN learns that their resignation will be done en masse, but not all of them will be dismissed, as this will depend on their performance at work.

It is also learned that Prime Minister Rama has spoken in harsh tones about the occupation of public spaces, the cleanliness of the city, which according to him, leaves much to be desired, and the disrespect for citizens.

They have valued us with their votes, Rama said, so this trust must be translated into respect for them.

Rama was accompanied by the Deputy Prime Minister, who is also the political leader of the region, Belinda Balluku, and the Mayor of Fier, Armando Subashi. (A2 Televizion)
