Prime Minister Edi Rama once again reiterated his position that the Justice Reform in Albania was not carried out by the United States of America.
"Ilir, independent justice, to the extent that it has become independent and to the extent that it is contributing and is not contributing a little to our joint effort to seat Albania at the European Union table, is the fruit of the vision, the will and the titanic effort of the Socialist Party of Albania," Rama responded to the commenter on Facebook.
"America did not bring it and America cannot take it with it because we are the ones here who have wanted this, we have written it in our programs since we were in opposition, since I led the SP in the first general elections that we lost by a very small margin, but this is another story. And it is the fruit of our firm stance. If we were, dear friend, against justice, then we would be here without any of the things you see and comment on as if America did. No! America has provided great support together with the EU in the reform process, but the independence and sustainability of the justice institutions depends only on the will of the SP, because if the SP leaves this trench, you have seen very well that others are lined up in the trenches of the fight against the institution of justice, of the criminalization and bombing of SPAK and the leader of SPAK with all kinds of slander, accusations, blackmail, insults and so on."
